Open a fresh Viaflex Ringer Lactate
solution by peeling open the outer cover. |

Ensure that the inflatable jacket is completely
deflated by opening the valve screw. Push the viaflex
bag into the jacket and use the integrated hanger hole
to fix the bag to the inside of the cluff. |
 |
Peel off the blue seal over the outlet of the Viaflex
bag.Insert the I.V.drip into this outlet taking care
that the ends do not touch your fingers or any unsterile
area.Ensure that the I.V.Drip is pushed into the outlet
adequately. If the I.V.Drip set has an airway, confirm
that it is CLOSED. It is important to have an air tight
closed system. |
 |

 |
As the surgery progresses the pressure will gradually
fall.Increase the pressure to the desired level by
simply squeezing the bulb(Done by the circulating
nurse). |
 |
Simply increase or decrease the infusion pressure to
the level you desire to suit the type or step of
surgery. |
